The Board of Change is pleased to announce that Daryl Hatton, Mia Kahout and Christie Stephenson will host Vertality: Summer Edition on August 3rd at the Westin Grand Hotel.
Daryl Hatton, CEO of award winning crowdfunding company FundRazr, has founded multiple start-ups and helped bring one to a successful NASDAQ IPO in 1999. He actively serves as board member or advisor to a handful of other hot companies in Canada. As a social media guy, his Twitter tagline includes words like “#KingOfGastown, entrepreneur, cardiac survivor, foodie, whisky nut, philosopher, mentor, father and friend.”
Mia Kohout is the General Manager of Vancouver Bike Share Inc, better known as Mobi, Vancouver’s highly anticipated public bike sharing program. She is also the co-owner & Editor-in-Chief of Momentum Mag and the founder of Bike to Work Week in Metro Vancouver.
Christie Stephenson is the Executive Director of the Peter P. Dhillon Centre for Business Ethics at the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business. Prior to joining Sauder in 2016, she spent more than 15 years at socially responsible and impact investing firms Sustainalytics, NEI Investments (Ethical Funds), and Purpose Capital. She currently serves as a corporate reporting judge for the Chartered Professional Accounts of Canada, a governance committee member at BlueShore Financial, and a director of the Canadian Centre for International Justice and Philippe Kirsch Institute.
