General Coordinator

The Board of Change is seeking a General Coordinator. This is a part-time contract position (approximately 20 hours per week) that could become a full time role for the right individual. You are a doer passionate about business and sustainability, have a growth mindset, are connected in the community, have great communication and organizational skills, are proficient with online applications, WordPress (or can learn) and social media platforms, are community minded, and a team player. Responsibilities include:

Member marketing and management
• Review and organize membership database in updated format, by learning and using the Board of Change membership app
• Develop communications, strategies and activities to engage existing and new members
• Help grow the membership

Website management and maintenance
• Update and maintain relevant information on
• Upload new relevant content from Board of Change activities and other related sources

Communications and outreach
• Create, manage and distribute regular email newsletters in support of Board of Change news, events and programs
• Animate and maintain Board of Change social media platforms as appropriate

Event coordination and program support
• Lead the coordination of events working with board members and volunteers

Board support and follow up
• Attend periodic board meetings
• Follow up on action items as required
• Proactively pursue and/or develop new opportunities

Point of contact
• Serve as primary point of contact for incoming enquiries
• Attend events and meetings as required

Remuneration: Please provide expected contract amount.
